Porsche 911 Carrera T Rental in Sarasota: What to Expect

The 2023 Porsche 911 Carrera T rents for $699 a day or $349 for four hours, and it is the easiest sports car in our fleet to live with for a full weekend. It has 379 hp from a turbocharged flat-six and a 182 mph top speed, without the intimidation of a full exotic.

How it drives

The 911 has familiar proportions and a refined feel. It is quick when you ask for it and calm when you do not, which suits Sarasota traffic on Tamiami Trail as well as an open stretch of road.

Who it suits

First-time sports-car renters, couples planning a dinner drive to Lakewood Ranch, and anyone who wants a recognizable, understated car rather than a loud one. It is easy to park, which keeps a day around St. Armands Circle or downtown low-stress.

How it compares

At $699 a day it sits in the same price tier as the Corvette Z06 and the Mercedes-AMG GT C. The Z06 is louder and faster, with 670 hp; the 911 is the more refined everyday choice. If you want the most dramatic option, look at the Audi R8 or the Huracán instead.
